About My French Desk

Created to support expatriates and foreign nationals through French administration and legal processes.

Why My French Desk exists

Based on the French Riviera, My French Desk was born from first-hand experience.

As a qualified jurist holding a Master’s degree (Master II) in Law, and after living abroad in Ireland, I spent seven years working in the insurance sector, regularly dealing with international and foreign parties. Through this experience, I saw how challenging it can be for non-French speakers to understand and navigate the French administrative and legal system — its procedures, language and expectations.

My French Desk was created to bridge this gap: to offer clear explanations, practical administrative support and trusted coordination, so expatriates and foreign nationals feel supported, confident and never alone when managing their affairs in France.

A Personal and Trust-Based Approach

At My French Desk, every situation is treated with care, discretion and attention.

I believe that effective support starts with listening. Each client’s situation is different — whether you are managing property from abroad, relocating to France, dealing with complex administration or facing a sensitive legal process. My role is to adapt to your needs, your timeline and your level of involvement.

I work as a trusted point of contact, helping you understand what is required, organising and following up on administrative matters, and coordinating with qualified professionals when necessary. Throughout the process, I ensure that everything is explained clearly, in plain English, so you always know what is happening and why.

The goal is simple:
to reduce stress, save you time, and provide calm, reliable support — so managing your affairs in France feels clearer and more manageable.
